Like’em or hate’em, Video Tube sites are here for the long, bumpy, haul. So before I go into the Tube Scripts I have found, I would like to say a few things about the bumpy haul.

First off, Tube Sites aren’t anything like Gallery Post sites (TGP or MGP). The amount of work, attention, problems, spamming, and hacks/exploits that happen on Tubes is a hundred times greater than Gallery Post Sites.

The copyright issues on Tubes are well known, and if you allow user uploads that problem will increase by a hundred times. Even sponsor driven Tube sites get DCMA notices. Be warned, it’s only a matter of time before some Adult Tube site get sued.

Tube traffic, In general Tube traffic is horrible, but that doesn’t mean Tubes won’t produce sales. As you may know, the servers and bandwidth can get rather expensive, very quickly. If you already have a server farm and burn some serious bandwidth, a Tube Site could benefit you in several ways. But for the smaller Webmaster or the newbie, not having the funds to correctly grow and manage such a project, could be rather expensive learning mistake.
