More Proof that Tubes aren’t that big!

This article is related to my recent post: Maybe Tube Sites Aren’t As Big As You Think

A few days back my inbox received the Gallery Traffic Service Newsletter, which was followed up by a 12+ page post on GFY. But this isn’t about GTS but it is about the contents of the Newsletter. Within it, contains two traffic promotions for Tube Sites, both with statistics.

YouJizz Promo:
The offer page states that YouJizz.com receives about 300k unique hits and 2.5 million page views daily. The Newsletter in my inbox says, “The site currently recieves around 400K uniques and 10 million page views daily” … killer, so let’s go with the middle point, 350k unique hits daily for YouJizz.

Tube8 Promo:
Tube8.com is pumping down 600k unique hits and 6 million page views daily.

More Statistics:
Now that we have some statistics for a couple of Tube Sites, we can use SexTracker to assist us with Statistics on a couple larger TGP’s, like TheHun and WorldSex for example.

Sextracker states the TheHun receives, 2.4 million unique hits and 11 million raw hits daily. And WorldSex is chillin at 1.1 million unique hits and 4.7 million raw hits daily.

Now if we toss them all together on Alexa, we get the graph below. And of course, Alexa is showing both Tubes beating out the TGP’s.

The provided statistics from GTS and Sextracker tell us that Alexa is little off. TheHun is about 6 times larger than YouJizz and 4 times larger than Tube8.

If we use Compete the story changes, and starts to look how it should.

Now things are back in the proper order, much like the provided statistics tell us and very much different than what Alexa is telling us. Can’t just blame Alexa for boosting stats though.

Wait what about WorldSex?
Both TheHun and WorldSex use the ranks listing on Sextracker, which means the counter only counts one page of hits. Yeah, that means TheHun gets 2.4+ million unique visitors to one page, each day.

TheHun also only has 10 pages within Google. WorldSex has 774 pages, which include archived niches, a blog, and some type of referral system. Overall, WorldSex’s entire site does receive more traffic than TheHun.net does.

Fuck Tubes:
I’m done with this subject for now unless some major statistics fall into my lap to overly prove or disprove the traffic sizes of Tube sites. Any Illegal Tubes wish to donate some Statistics?

If you plan on fighting piracy or simply ignoring it, at the end of the day it isn’t going to go away. It will never stop growing and neither should you.

Knowing Illegal Tubes really hasn’t been ripping our industry traffic at massive levels does make me feel like my own traffic and site building is all worth it in the end. That doesn’t mean it makes me feel like my content efforts are worth a shit, but at least part of the business is covered.
