Sometimes Microsoft does come out with useful tools, even if they aren’t perfect. The MS IE Developer Toolbar is a pretty cool toy, uhhhh tool. After a quick install you will be able to quickly disable IE settings, change browser resolutions, and a quick pull of the tape measure tells you the width of a graphic. But that’s only a few of the toys, as a tool this bad boy takes a web page and will create guidelines for the tables, graphics, cells, div tags and other CSS elements. With a little bit of practice this tool can quickly assist you with finding and repairing pesky html and CSS mistakes.

MS gives the brief description: “The Microsoft Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar provides a variety of tools for quickly creating, understanding, and troubleshooting Web pages.”

You can read more about the Developer Toolbar and download it directly from the MS website. The software is FREE, so who can complain.

Late Note: Before you install this neat yet rather stupid software, you should upgrade your windows at the windows update site. IE is a pile of crap and this opens exploits in IE for simple code insert attacks if you haven’t upgraded.

Or, wait a few days and I will post the FF toolbar that does almost the same thing.
