If you are like myself and have a few remaining domains that you can't unlock, transfer, get codes for or even see - then this may be a breath of fresh air for you. It appears ICANN is going to allow your domains to transfer into an accredited registrar.
Source icann.org: "ICANN is immediately inviting statements of interest from accredited registrars starting Monday, 30 April 2007, to act as a transfer provider, so domain name registrants can gain full access to their domains."
ICANN admits it's their first time! Looks like ICANN's virgin days are over; the cherry has officially been popped. From the article: "this process may be frustrating for some RegisterFly customers, it is the first time."
So it looks like ICANN may be stepping up and helping us out. I have sent an email to my rep at Moniker to try and get more information, I will post once more is known.
