A few friends requested that I send out updates over email. Not being big on sending emails I set out to find a simple, free, solution. I quickly found Feed Blitz, an email solution for sites that publish RSS Feeds.

Feed Blitz is simple and free! By creating an account you can subscribe to many different types of RSS Feeds such news, blog updates or add in your sponsor’s hosted gallery RSS feeds to stay on top of updates.

It only takes a few seconds to create an account!

  1. Register for the service (Add a valid email and set your password)
  2. Click the link to the confirmation the registration process.
  3. Log on!
  4. Select “New Subscription” from the menu on the right.
  5. Enter the URL: http://feeds.feedburner.com/TheDocBlog
  6. Submit the form - that’s it!

If I updated that day, then shortly after midnight, eastern US time, you will get an email notice that TheDocBlog has updated.
